How can I make my computer less slow?

I want to play the Sims2 but my computer is so slow that it skips mega-much. And it takes forever to do the simplest things on there.
What can I do to make it run faster?
Should I delete pictures/videos?

Well, we need to know first how much RAM do you have. Number two you need to delete the temporarily files who were created while u surf. If you get rid of those files your computer will gain performance.

Try these out : cleanup (
    spybot (

After you run them, restart the computer and you will see a big difference in performance.

    Have a great day !
