How many Wifi Computers connecting to Wifi?
How many computers can one expect to connect to a wifi router?
I have a Sky Router, and i plan on unplugging the router from the computer, and get the computer to connect wirelessly (i’ll buy a wifi card) so i can move the router further away to make other computers connect (the router was too far away so i was going to move it towards the middle of the house and not be connected to any computers via cables) far more easily.

Connect as many as you want, if that’s what you’re asking. The more host connected, the slower your wifi net will be. All depends on the router too.

From a practical standpoint you will find a limit of 10-15 or maybe 20 machines can connect.
In theory you can use as many as you want up to the allowed subnet which is 254 machines, but in practical day to day operations the router will probably only support around 10-15 without issues. Some manufacturers show this, some don’t, you have to find out the hard way.

My husband and i have been very thrilled Chris could finish off his inquiry via the precious recommendations he was given through the web pages. It is now and again perplexing to simply always be freely giving methods which often many others have been making money from. And we all keep in mind we have got the writer to be grateful to for that. All the illustrations you’ve made, the simple blog menu, the friendships you assist to instill – it’s many awesome, and it is helping our son and the family reason why that matter is cool, which is certainly wonderfully serious. Thank you for everything!
