Why aren’t there any barcode scanning apps in android market that do not read your personal info?
They all read your contacts and other personal info, why is that? if there is one that doesn’t read personal info, what is it’s name?
by the way too many apps read contacts and other personal info, i hate that so much. for apps that manipulate your personal info it makes sense, but apps that so simple things like drawing or scanning or calculators they don’t need that access. am i right?

Because they need to access the address book so you can “send” the barcode to e-mail / sms / whatever. That’s what that “share” button is for.
