How do i configure my PC to send all traffic to 1 network card?

Hi,
I have a PC that has 2 network cards. I have VMware workstation installed, with a guest XP machine. I want to configure my PC so the Host PC uses Network card one only, and the guest to use network card 2 only.

I know how to setup VMware to use only network card 2, but how do i setup the host to only use network card 1?

well in your host (XP) set up nic 1.. in vmware, select “bridged” networking and select the 2nd nic. don’t use “nat” or “host-only” networking.

The easiest way to achieve this is to not assign an IP address to the NIC that you want to use from the VMware guest XP machine. Without an IP address, the NIC won’t be used by the host machine.
