How do I uninstall a video card from my PC and revert to factory settings?

I installed an Ati X1300 card into my PC, but I am going to take it out and put it in another pc.

I tried turning the power off, unplugging the VGA cable from the card, and then putting it back on the original VGA output. That didn’t work.

So I’m assuming I need to go into control panel settings and set up the original built-in video card again.

How do I go about doing this without original drivers on hand?

Thanks.
I cannot figure this out, I tried what you say in the first answer…I see no factory card option.

You have to go into your display settings and change it back to normal.

Does the mother board in the computer have it’s own video connection? If so, did you disable it using the computer bios? you need to set the on board video in the bios setup.

Go into Add/Remove panel, remove all drivers for the ATI x1300–it usually has ATI in the word. Shutdown your PC, remove the ATI card. Turn on your PC and get into your Bios, look for the video section and make sure that you enable the built-in video card. Save your Bios, reboot and window will redetect and load the driver for your built-in.

Hit Start>Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>System>Click the hardware tab>Device Manager>Display Adapters>Click the video card>Right click and disable>Turn off computer>Remove video card>Plug monitor into on board video>Turn on computer>Go into BIOS and make sure on board video is turned on>If problem occurs and you cant figure out how to turn it on, contact computer manufactor
