Is it possible to connect a digital coaxial cable to a pc running xp and 1.1 usb ports so I can watch freeview?

I want to watch digital TV through my PC monitor but a DVB stick didnt seem to work. I have a digital coaxial cable running into my room but I’m a bit lost of other ideas! Doh!

I think you’ll find you may need a TV card in your PC

It is likely that 1.1 is too slow for video. What is the coax supplying? What signals? Is it RF? Most high quality video signals are not piped with coax. You need a video capture card or try a USB2 PCI card in your PC with the DVB stick.
