What blank dvd do I need to buy to burn my camcorder movies to dvd?
I have a new Sony (I think) camcorder that has like an SD card like digital cameras in it. I put the chip in my computer so I can download the video but I’m not sure what kind of disc I need to buy to burn video to. Is it dvd-r, dvd, cd-w, I have no clue! Please help. Just trying to burn my video to a dvd.

That depends on your burner. I buy DVD+R, but DVD-R will work too.

All dvd writeable discs are good, such as DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, etc. Both DVD-R and DVD+R disc only write once, DVD+RW and DVD-RW can be rewriteable, and you should use some good brand disc, such as Verbatim DVD-R disc and DVD+RW disc is good.
And burn videos to a DVD, first you must have a dvd burner drive(hardware) on your computer, most dvd burner drives have a text “DVD RW” on drive panel, you should check your computer to validate there is a right dvd burner drive on your computer. Then you need to use a right dvd burning software.
If you just want to burn your videos onto DVD disc as data dvd, you can use RZ Free DVD Burner, it’s free and easy to use, it can directly burn any files or folders onto any dvd disc as data dvd, you can open the burned data disc on computer, but can’t play it on dvd player.
