How do i slow a computer process so it doesn’t take up so much processing space?
I have this full screen game that will not save so i have to keep it open. I want to be able to work on my computer though without it being super slow.
Is there a way to slow the process but not kill it so i can still keep the game data but the game won’t take up so much processing space or whatever.
Then when i want the game i can just un-slow the process or whatever.
Thanks

One way to achieve what you are trying to do is by changing the priority of those processes…
You can set it to “Low” or “High” depending upon its importance.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and bring up the task manager. Go to the “Processes” tab and look for the process for that game. Right-click the process name and select “Set Priority” and set it to anything lower than “normal” and that should work.
Warning: some games don’t like that and might crash.
