How can I make my PC recognize a non integrated graphics card?

I got a really nasty virus and had to reformat. Not a big deal I keep stuff backed up on my external. After reformatting however the PC is only recognizing the invidia integrated Graphics card not the Radeon 9800 that is installed in the PCI slot. How do I make the PC recognize the graphics card in the PCI slot? I dowloaded and tried to install the ATI Drivers but that did not help.

Check the graphic settings in the bios.

K the instant your pc boots up press f2 or delete or whatever it tells you to access your bios.
Once you get into the bios, look around, and try to find the graphics tab. and it should let you choose between the two. Fiddle around, and if you do anything that might not have been good, go back to defaults. Be careful what you do though, especially with the cpu clocking because you might mess something up.
