How do i get my wifi working again on my toshiba laptop?
On my laptop the little light on the side is red, saying that the wifi is off. I’ve never had this problem before so I have no idea how it was turned red. I press the FN +F8 buttons, and there it says wifi is on. When it isn’t because its not letting me connect to anything. I have looked all over the laptop and there is no obvious switch to change it back to green.
Please help x
thanks xxx

Have you tried shutting down the computer and starting it again.
My toshiba occasionally has wireless and wifi problems, which are usually resolved by just starting it up again.
If not i’ve got no idea,
Best of luck

There is a little toggle switch that turns the Wifi modem on and off. Occasionally you can accidentally slide it to the off position. Look closely a that area at the bottom left corner of your laptop and you should see a small plastic slide toggle. Slide it to the right and it should turn your Wifi modem on. Once it’s on, click the wireless icon at the bottom right of your screen and refresh your network list, or just reboot your computer.

The wifi light is normally the switch for the wifi unit try moving the very small a little button near the light.
