you can buy a usb-card and hook it up to your laptop. this will really improve your range, and it really helps. it shouldn’t cost nothing but $20 dollars, to get one from Wal-Mart.

You can get some use router at places that people dont want to use and you can turn them to repeater. So you adjust the range you want and also you can use old computer with wifi adapter or usb and turn them access point be turning them to repeaters.
