What is pc to pc calling? As opposed to cell phone/land line calling from your computer?

How do u dial a computer? How would someone dial my computer? I don’t know what the phone number is for it. I’m a little confused.

I know you can use Google Talk and Skype but I don’t know exactly what pc to pc calling is.

PC to PC calling, basically you do voice or video chat from on computer to another.
you would just need to know the username for his/her account.

PC to PC calling also known as VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a way of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over IP networks such as the Internet or other packet-switched networks. as you said Google Talk and Skype both do this. the way you you would call a person using these programs is to add a persons username who is using the same program, much like how you would add an email address to an address book or a contact on an IM, once the username is added they will appear on a ist of contacts when they are online and you would simply double click that contact or click the call button
